Armand Ensanian, Author of “Discovering the Motorcycle” the History, the Culture, the Machine. His presentation will be on the history of BMW Motorrad from the early days forward.
Armand's love affair with motorcycles began at an early age, touring up and down the east coast on a small Honda. The lessons learned on the road taught him the value of mobility and the need to understand the machine. His technical education began at Kawasaki service school while pursuing a career as a journalist. Fifty years later, after countless miles ridden, military service, scores of motorcycles discovered and rebuilt and many pages published, Armand is still an avid rider, mechanic, photographer and enthusiast. His love for knowledge about these great machines comes through loud and clear on every page.
Armand's book is just over five hundred pages long, with over a thousand photographs, covers all types and all marques of motorcycles. Obviously he left no stone unturned, he even discusses the social impact. This has to be the most comprehensive book of its kind. He will be bringing some copies with him for sale and will gladly sign the inside cover with a personal autograph after his presentation on Saturday.
